Bio:
John Loessy is a seasoned marketing professional with a rich background of over 13 years in the music and entertainment industry, based in Nashville, TN. Currently serving as Director, Marketing at Provident Label Group under Sony Music Entertainment, John has been a key player in driving innovative marketing strategies for a broad range of artists including Brandon Lake, KB, and Zach Williams. He has led marketing initiatives for albums that have debuted in the coveted #1 spot on various Billboard album charts, and for songs that debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
While attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN, he spent a semester gaining real-world experience at Wind Up Records in New York City. Upon graduation in 2013, he returned to Nashville to begin working in Christian music, a genre that was of deep personal significance to him. He served for nearly seven years at Capitol CMG Label Group, first as a Digital Marketing Manager, then as a Commercial Partnerships Manager, working releases by artists including Amy Grant, NF, Tori Kelly, and TobyMac among others. John then expanded his marketing experience as a Digital Marketing & Relationship Manager at Compassion LIVE, a division of Compassion International. In this role, he successfully managed tour marketing campaigns and virtual event campaigns, contributing to the organization’s mission of releasing children from poverty.
John’s passion for music extends beyond his professional endeavors. He is an accomplished pianist since the age of eleven, independently releasing original music compositions under the moniker solsey. His creative pursuits reflect his deep-seated love for music and commitment to artistic expression and storytelling. With a blend of professional acumen and personal passion, John continues to make significant contributions to the music industry, inspiring both colleagues and audiences alike.
